Led IV

Imagine Led Zeppelin capturing you in a moment of live music back in the 70’s.

Meant to conjure the rock ‘n’ roll stage presence of Robert Plant and his love-filled voice in this song in particular. Jimmy Page’s intensely talented hold on the guitar and a hint of booze. Holds special meaning and, therefore, is Jazmin Saraï’s first band inspired perfume.

The perfume starts off just fresh enough with a simple citrus blend. As the crowd ventures closer to the stage and Plant starts to sing, the bright boozy note of Davana drops, John Paul Jones plays the mandolin…the crowd goes silent. The echo effect in the song contributes to the ripple effect of ingredients; guitar strings coincide with the wet metallic aspect of patchouli. The smokiness of Guaiac wood goes back and forth to wrapping the wearer and the listener with a shroud of mystery.

Fragrance Notes:

Grapefruit, Bergamot, Davana, Labdanum, Guaiacwood, Patchouli and Musk.

Musical Genres:

Hard rock, Blues Rock and Folk Rock.

Led IV is inspired by the Led Zeppelin song, "Going to California" (1971) and, particularly the chant-like lyrics of the song that signify a stream of consciousness: “It seems that the wrath of the Gods got a punch on the nose and it started to flow; I think I might be sinking…Throw me a line if I reach it in time, I’ll meet you up there where the path runs straight and high”.

As a disclaimer, Robert Plant, Jimmy Paige, John Paul Jones and remaining members of Led Zeppelin do not endorse this or any other product made by Jazmin Saraï.
